Kids on Course is comprised of a varied group of individuals who share a love for the game of golf and a commitment to the personal development of young people. Our trained instructors love working with junior golfers of all ages and we look forward to working with your children and teaching them the skills that they will be able to use on the course and off.
Meet the Kids on Course Golf Academy Team!
Sheila M. Fitzgerald Executive Director
Sheila has been a golfer for thirty years, and has dedicated nearly a decade to Kids on Course Golf Academy. A native of Santa Maria, California, Sheila attended the University of Florida, where she graduated with a degree in Health and Human Sciences. She spent more than twenty years working as a telecommunications executive, and now loves having the opportunity to work with young people and share the game of golf every day. Sheila has been happily married since 1980, and she is the proud mother of two wonderful children. Whenever she can, Sheila loves to travel and explore new places.
Lin Fitzgerald Director of Instruction
Linwood has been with Kids on Course Golf Academy since 2009, and he has been a golfer for more than twenty years. He loves working with young golfers and passing on his years of experience to a new generation. Linwood is a sports lover and has supported local high school athletes by officiating baseball, basketball, and football games for more than a decade. In his free time, Linwood enjoys photography, sports, movies, and video games.
Erin Roye Instructor
Erin has many years of experience playing golf and helping kids to stay active and enjoy sports. Erin studies at the University of Texas at San Antonio, and hopes to be able to continue working with young people for the rest of her life. A native of Midland, TX, Erin enjoys spending time with her loving and competitive mother, father, and sisters. In addition to being an avid golfer, she enjoys playing volleyball, camping, fishing, and being outdoors whenever she can.
Blake has been with Kids On Course since 2011. He played four years of varsity golf with Central Catholic High School and three semesters of college golf at Texas Lutheran University before transferring to the University of Texas at San Antonio to pursue a degree in Construction Science and Management. Blake continues to compete in amateur golf tournaments throughout the San Antonio and surrounding area. He enjoys teaching his passion for golf to kids wanting to learn the game. In addition to golf, Blake has been involved with many sports including basketball, soccer, and baseball.
